Parkside Shores planning a Western Day

On Saturday, May 19, Parkside Shores, a subdivision on Lake Palestine will hold a Western Day.

Lots of fun and activities are lined up for a great day..

The fun begins at 11am with food, fun games with prizes, and a country store with nice gifts and baked items.

The highlight of the day is an auction beginning at noon with furniture, gift items, tools, fishing items, and so much more. There's something for everyone! All items will be sold to the highest bidder.

Big news for cowboys and cowgirls! A 30-30 rifle will be raffled off. No need to be present to win.

For the little ones there will be a goat scramble.

Also, enjoy some tasty barbecue plates with all the trimmings and a drink for $5.00.
