Richard "Kent" Ray

Memorial services for Richard "Kent" Ray, 41, of Troup, Texas, will be held Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jerry Hawbaker will officiate, under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Ray died May 5, 2007. He was born March 28, 1966 in Tyler, Texas.

He had lived in Troup for about 3 years, Washington (state) 7 years, and earlier in the Chandler/Brownsboro area. He was an oil field worker and served in the U.S. Navy during "Desert Storm."

Survivors are his parents, Billy and Sylvia Ray; sons, Jonathan Ray and Keith Ray; and brother, Scott Ray.

Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
