Robert W. Reeves

Memorial services for Robert Wayne Reeves, 67, Murchison, were held Saturday at Ash Baptist Church, Athens, with the Rev. Don Chapin officiating. Arrangements were with Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mr. Reeves died April 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 20, 1940, to Eldon Maurice and Susie Grace Burk Reeves.

He grew up in Fisher County and worked at Buckner's Children's Home in Dallas for several years. He moved to Callender Lake in 1972 and mowed yards for 20 years. He was a member of Ash Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Maurice Reeves.

Survivors include his mother, Grace Reeves, Callender Lake; sister, Bettye Kamstra, Lancaster, Calif.; and half-sister, Ann Case, Marble Falls.
