Thirty-five Brownsboro Junior High and High School students were recognized by the Chandler Lions Club, during their Student Recognition Program, held Tuesday, May 1, in the Chandler Community Center.
Students possessing such qualities as dedication, great attitude, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, excellent student, helpful, respectful, caring, polite, diligent, outstanding, and dependable, were called forward to receive their medal.
"You will notice there is a common thread that links all these students together," said Lions Club member and BISD Superintendent Elton Caldwell who presented the awards, along with Lions Club members Charles and Darla Fink. "All tend to work hard in school and tend to be respectful to their teachers and peers. All these kids have these common traits. It's always a pleasure to work with them."

8th grade: Kadie De La Garza, Macy Pollard, Carlos Mendoza, Matt Freeman, Zachary Lucker, and Ashleigh Alford.
9th grade: Erica Rojas, Aurora Rojas, Shelbi Holt, Zachary Bailey, and Charles Johnson.
