Edwards selected to All-Star game

With the success the Bears had this past football season players continue to be honored.

Senior Lonnie Edwards manned the offensive line for the Bears and had been selected to participate in the THSCA All-Star game on July 31 at Amon Carter Field at Texas Christian University (TCU).

Edwards signed with Texas Tech University on National Signing Day and has received many awards this season including: AP Sports Writers Class 3A First Team Offense, First Team Offense Texas Prep Extra and Texas High School Football.com.

Game time is 7:30pm on Tuesday, July 31. More information on the game can be found at www.THSCA.com. Edwards is the only player from Brownsboro and District 14-3A to be selected for the team. He will be playing for the North team.
