PRE-DAWN ROLLOVER -- Eastbound traffic on State Highway 31 was reduced to one lane for several hours, just west of Chandler when this 2007 18-wheeler Freightliner rolled over on its side around 4:50 Monday morning. The driver, Lillian Akins, 48, of Temple, Texas, said she was eastbound in the outside lane when as she approached the curve to the left, she noticed a car come from behind her into the inside lane. Akins said when the car started to come back over into her lane, she moved over to the right to avoid a collision, lost con- trol and rolled over on the right side skidding to a stop in the outside lane and right shoulder. Akins said an unidentified passing motorist helped her climb from the truck. She said she was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Both lanes of traffic were open by 10:30 a.m. Akins was transporting cardboard for Central Texas Corrigated. There were no citations issued.
