Albert Davidson

Graveside services for Mr. Albert Davidson, 81, of Van, Texas were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Sheppard officiating.

Burial was in Chandler Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Davidson died May 18, 2007 in Tyler, Texas. He was born March 22, 1926 in Chandler, Texas.

He had lived in Van, Texas, for 1 year, formerly of Stephenville, Texas, and 30 years at Terrell, Texas. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church of Terrell, and worked as a furniture mover and concrete finisher. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Survivors are former wife, Sue Mangham Davidson, Terrell; sons, Roger Davidson of Jacksonville and Larry Davidson and wife Sarah of Crockett; daughter, Lisa Kleivert and husband Jimmy of Van; brother, Henry Davidson and wife Virginia of Tyler; sister, Noma Brock of Tyler; sisters-in-law, Geneva Davidson of Pexley, MO and Lois Davidson of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
