Evelyn Inez Wimbish

Services for Mrs. Evelyn Inez Wimbish, 95, Brownsboro, were held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Weems officiating.

Burial followed at Edom Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wimbish died May 23, 2007 in Tyler. She was born September 10, 1911 in Arlington, Texas. She lived most of her life in the Brownsboro area, was a Baptist and a homemaker. She loved quilting for friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by husband, Rufus Grady Wimbish, a son, Rufus Lawson Wimbish and two brothers, James Robison and Milford Robison.

Survivors include son, Doyle Nelson and wife Danya of Brownsboro; daughters, Nelda Dunaway of Brownsboro, Neta Matheson and husband Don of Quitman, and Linda York and husband Dwayne of Brownsboro; sister, Mona Robison of Grand Prairie; and five generations of grandchilden too numerous to count.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
