Four Bears make All-District

Ryan Epperson earned First Team All-District honors at catcher as the District 14-3A All-District Teams were recently released.

Also making the cut was Keaton Parsell (P), Brad McDonald (SS) and Collin Wilson (OF) all on the Second Team.

Epperson, Parsell and Wilson are expected to return to the diamond next year as seniors while McDonald will be a sophomore.

During District 14-3A play Epperson batted .300 with three homeruns and 9 RBI. Parsell hit .313 with 10 hits and 3 RBI.

Wilson hit a team high .375 in district from the leadoff spot with 12 hits and stole 6 bases. McDonald took over at short after an injury and had 7 hits and 4 RBI.

On the mound Parsell was 2-4 in District with 6 appearances and an ERA of 3.15. He struck out 42 batters while walking 17.

Last season in District 15- 3A Epperson was Second Team All-District at pitcher while Parsell earned Second Team honors at Utility.
