Area children's competitive soccer club announces tryouts

Open tryouts are scheduled for July 1-3, and July 7-8, 2007, for the Henderson County RaptorsFC competitive soccer club. The Raptors are presently composed of U-12 girls, U-14 girls, and U-14 boys.

Professional coaching is provided by Challenger Sports to ensure the highest quality of instruction in advanced soccer skills and train- ing for the team members. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of coaching and competition at an economical price so that no child with the desire to play at the competitive level is excluded.

Practices are held in Athens and games are played in the Tyler open league through the Tyler Soccer Association. The Raptors are affiliated with Henderson County Soccer Association and North Texas Soccer Association.
