Palestine man wins MSVFD Classic Car & Truck Show
Vehicles of all makes, models and colors lined the community center's park area while volunteers dished out tasty barbecue. Winning "Best in Show" was L. Reed, of Palestine, with his 1985, "Predator" GMC Sierra Classic 1500 pickup truck, with a H.O. ZZ430 engine. Bernis Browning, of Tyler, took home the "Best Interior" trophy for his 1957 Chevrolet convertible. Barbara Bates won "Best Paint" for her 1965 Ford Mustang. "Best Engine" went to Robert Johnson, for his 1956 Chevrolet pickup truck, with a 350 ZZ4 engine. A big thank you to all who helped make the day a big success, and especially to Henderson County Constable Daryl K. Graham for his donation of $1,000. More photos from the show are on page 12. |
