Our weekly Bible studies and worship services continue to be a blessing. We were glad to welcome Mike and Kelly Chambers to our church family. Also, we were blessed by having Bro. David's father and brother in our evening worship service. His father played the piano and sang two very beautiful songs.

The youth Barbeque fundraiser was a great success. Over $600.00 was raised to help the youth go to youth camp in Glorietta, New Mexico, in July. Thanks to all the youth workers and to those who supported the event.

The Top of the Hill Gang enjoyed lunch at Lake Athens Marina Restaurant on June 8. Those attending were Jerry & Joyce Houston, Joe & Mary Waddill, Stephen & Connie Giles, Chris Weeks, Paul & Dorothy McMillan, John & Ginny Dabbs, and Warren & Nita LeMaster

The next meeting will be at Daniel Boone's Beans & Burger Restaurant in Tyler on July 13, at 11:30 a.m. The August 13 meeting will be at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Lindale. All senior adults are invited and encouraged to join them.

Jared Bray, son of Andy & Gina Tucker, attended the Mack Brown Football Camp on the Campus of The University of Texas in Austin last week. One of the highlights for Jared was meeting and having his picture made with Mack Brown. Jared said he met some new friends and learned some new drills to get him started for the fall football.

The men's prayer breakfast is held every Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m.

The ladies prayer time is held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 10:45 a.m. at the church. Their next meeting will be June 21.

Courtney Allison and Chris Douzart will be married Friday afternoon, June 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall following the ceremony. All friends are invited to attend.

Vacation Bible School is coming up fast. Mark your calendars and bring your children. Vacation Bible School will be held July 8- 12 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights, with a meal served each night.

Maxine and Jack Barnes attended her class reunion in Carthage last weekend. They enjoyed visiting and reminiscing with old friends.

Continue to be in prayer for Pam Wyatt and Wanda Livingston who are recuperating from knee surgery. Also, be in prayer for the family of Nita LeMaster's nephew who passed away last week.
