St. Boniface Catholic Church

On the Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, members of St. Boniface had the honor to participate in the Eucharistic Celebration offered by Fr. Nathan Mamo. Fr. Nathan is the son of Iris Mamo, our beloved DRE. The Mass was said in Memory of Nathan Mamo, Sr. who passed from this world to join Jesus, three years ago.

In his homily, Fr. Nathan explained to the congregation that we are all sinners, and recognizing that fact and admitting to it will gain us the reward of Christ's grace. There is not one among us that is without sin. And, while our sin may be great, the forgiveness of the Father is extraordinary!

Fr. Nathan spoke directly to the young people in an effort to impart the knowledge that we should be good, even when there is no reward! All the dads of St. Boniface were a Happy Father's Day. We thank Fr. Nathan for celebrating the Eucharist with us and look forward to his next visit to St. Boniface!

Following Mass, refreshments were served in the community hall.

Once again, a reminder that St. Boniface is in need of a couple to be the Altar Service Coordinator. On Friday, June 22nd at 7:00 pm, there will be an Altar Servers training for both new and current Altar Servers. We ask that parents please accompany their children.

Faith Formation teachers are also needed for the next school year. Please contact Fr. Jesse or Iris Mamo for more details.

Congratulations and best wishes to all who are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. We pray for relief for those who are sick and suffering. We also pray for eternal rest for the faithful departed. Please lift in prayer our men and women serving in the armed services. May God protect them in their efforts to defend us and our great nation.

Have a wonderful week! God bless you.
