Miss Henderson County USA, Ashley Daily, to compete for Miss Texas USA Title

Houston, TX -- The Crystal Group, Inc., producers of the Miss Texas USA pageant have announced the selection of Ashley Daily to represent Henderson County in this year's contest. Her official title is Miss Henderson County USA.

Miss Daily, a Kinesiology student at Tyler Junior College, will travel to Laredo, Texas on June 24 for a week of rehearsals, special events, and preliminary competitions culminating in the televised Miss Texas USA pageant on Sunday, July 1. (Check local listings for time and station.)

The four-time Emmy Award winning Miss Texas USA pageant will be televised locally in all Texas TV markets and is an official preliminary to Miss USA, which is jointly owned by Donald J. Trump and NBC.

In addition to taking home an array of prizes that includes a new Ford Mustang, gold and diamond jewelry, and a trip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the winner will bear the title of Miss Texas USA for one year, traveling, meeting dignitaries, participating in official charity and social events, and representing pageant sponsors. In the spring of 2008, Miss Texas USA will compete with outstanding young women from across the nation at the Miss USA pageant to be televised live on NBC.
