      The Big Dogs 8-9 year old coach pitch division of the East Texas Girls Softball League finished the season in First place Saturday, with a 12-0 record, and will advance to District playoffs the week of July 2, in Mildred, Texas.

Bear Basketball Camp draws 98 students
      In just his second year as camp instructor at BHS Coach Jeff Hutchins drew 98 boys to the Annual Bear Basketball Camp last Monday-Friday. At the conclusion of camp on Friday the boys were awarded with ribbons and medals for their efforts in various events throughout the camp.

      ANNUAL SOFTBALL CAMP-- More than 40 young girls attended the Annual Bearette Softball Camp held last Monday- Thursday at the Bearette Softball Field in Brownsboro.
