Brownsboro High School new student registration begins Monday, July 16
2007-08 schedule and parking information also released

As the school year draws near Brownsboro High School is busy preparing for the new batch of students as well as the returning ones.

Beginning Monday, July 16 new students are encouraged to register between the hours of 9:00am-3:00pm daily. The registration will be closed from 11:00am-1:00pm for lunch.

Documents needed for new student registration include the student's last report card, birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization records and proof of residence.

For returning students the schedules for the 2007-08 school year have been completed and can be picked up Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26. Schedules will be released to the actual student or parent only and will be available from 8:30am- 11am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Schedule changes may be made as follows:

12th Grade: Monday, August 6th from 8:30am-11am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

11th Grade: Tuesday, August 7th from 8:30am-11am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

10th Grade: Wednesday, August 8th from 8:30am- 11am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

9th Grade: Thursday, August 9th from 8:30am-11am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Changes made to schedules must be done in person by the actual student or parent. No phone calls for schedule changes will be accepted.

For all students parking permit application forms may be picked up at the high school during summer hours of Monday Thursday 8am-4:30pm and Friday 8am-noon.

Applications must be filled out and signed by parent or guardian before purchasing the permit. The following information is required on the permit: First, middle and last name; address, phone numbers, parent-guardian names, driver license number, insurance company and policy number, vehicle information, license plate number and a parent or guardian's signature.

A copy of the proof of insurance is required. Bring a card and a copy will be made. Students are subject to random drug testing. Failure to park without a permit or in designated space or leaving campus without permission is a violation and will be subject to a fine, revoking permit or towing at owners expense.

Any vehicle driven on or parked on BISD property is subject to search at any time with reasonable cause without consent of the owner.

Student must bring their schedules in order to purchase a parking permit. Officer Kyle Bridges will handle the permit sales, each permit is $5.00.

Date and time to purchase parking permits are:

12th Grade: Monday, July 23, 9am-11am.

11th Grade: Monday, July 23, 1pm-3pm.

9 & 10 Grade: Tuesday, July 24, 9am-11am.

Any Level: Tuesday, July 24 1pm-3pm.
