The engagement of Kristen Marie Smith, Chandler, and Jeremy Hank Saylors, Edom, is announced.

Parents of the bride-elect are Matt and Tamy Smith of Chandler. She attends Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois, taking courses to complete a Bachelors in Science while doing pre-med to become a Pediatrician. She is a 2006 graduate of Brownsboro High School.

Hank's parents are Sissy and David Dean of Edom and John and Linda Saylors of Brownsboro. He is a 2006 graduate of Brownsboro High School and is attending Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois. He is getting a degree in Wildlife Management and Shooting Complex Management, and will graduate in the Spring of 2009 after completing a year of internship.

The wedding date is August 11, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. in the home of Matt and Tamy Smith, with reception to follow. All friends are welcome to attend.
