Allison and Douzar unite in marriage

Courtney Lynn Allison and Christopher Alan Douzart, Jr. were married June 15, 2007 at Faith Baptist Church in Chandler. The officiant was Rev. Joe Ballard.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Allison of Chandler. She is a graduate of Brownsboro High School and plans to enter the nursing program at Louisiana State University.

The bridegroom is the son of Chris Douzart of Chandler and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chaffin of Oakdale, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Brownsboro High School, and is employed by Turner Industries in Sulpher, Louisiana.

Maid of honor was Ashley Hill, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Douzart, sister of the groom, Whitney Knable, friend of the bride, and Stefani Vause, friend of the bride.

Best man was Jeremy Rackley, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jesse Rackley, friend of the groom, and Deryl Douzart, uncle of the groom. The usher was Brandon Allison, brother of the bride.

Flower girls were Caitlyn Allison, sister of the bride, and Savana Chaffin, sister of the groom. Ring bearer was Dilyn Douzart, cousin of the groom.

Pianist was Gina Tucker.

The reception was held in the Fellowship Hall of Faith Baptist Church.

Following a cruise to Mexico, the couple is residing in Oakdale, Louisiana.
