"The Little Church with the Big Smile" would like to say thank you to The Statesman for allowing us to write our church news.

Since the retirement of our Pastor, Rev. Issac Johnson, our church has been seeing lots of changes. But with God's help it is coming into focus for us. Things are really going great.

Our current Pastors are members of our church, the Rev. David Tidmore and Rev. Russell Kuhns. They are doing a great job alternating each week. If anyone needs them, they are available.

Our church services are Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. We also have Wednesday night Bible Study at 7:00.

Our Youth Group is under the leadership of Ricky Daily They meet also on Sunday nights at 6:00 and Wednesday evening at 7:00. Everyone is invited to come and visit with us. If you need a church home, we have one.

One of our members passed away recently, Mr. Jack Day. We are keeping Ellen and her family in our prayers.

Our Youth Group returned from Church Camp held in Falls Creek, OK, Saturday. They reported 2400 kids were saved at the camp. Also attending camp with them was Hilltop Baptist of Frankston. They were under the leadership of Ricky Daily. Several more adults were with them. There were several of our youth that dedicated themselves to the ministry.

We had two young people baptized Sunday and also two re-dedications. God is awesome!

All of our visitors Sunday, we welcome you back. We enjoyed you!

Continue to pray for all of the shut-ins and sick. They need our daily prayers.

Remember our troops on foreign soil and here at home also. We have a young man in our church that will soon be leaving for his second tour. He is in the 1st Mountain Division, currently at Ft. Drum, NY. He is Jared Staggs, son of Vicki and Layne Staggs.
