The Angel Food Ministry, under the direction of Dale and Mary Ann Whisenhunt at Lake Palestine United Methodist Church would like to remind the community that the next orders for food will be taken on August 8th from 2-6 PM at the church on 315 S. located at the second bridge on Lake Palestine. $50-$75 worth of food can be purchased for $25. It is quality food comparable to anything purchased at the grocery store. Nothing is needed to purchase this food except a name and address. Pick-up will be at the church on August 25th at 11 AM. Please bring a medium sized box to put the food in. Food stamps can be used to purchase this food. Freshman Orientation will be held in the Brownsboro High School Little Theater on Thursday, August 9. Band students and parents will meet at 4:30pm followed by students with last names A-K at 5:30 and students L-Z at 6:30pm. All parents and students are encouraged to attend.
