I woke up this morning and
My clock said it was nine.
I was to meet Joe at the office
at the hour of nine.
I hurried and got there at nine-thirty;
My secretary was at the door;
Said, "You are late" but Joe
Hasn't made it yet."
I looked at her and smiled,
If Joe is not here yet
How could I be late?"
