Brownsboro 1st Assembly of God announces new pastor, homecoming

Brownsboro First Assembly of God welcomes the new pastor, Rev. Wes Bynum and wife Bee Bynum, who came to the church in April 2007.

The couple has been married 26 years and have two children, a son, Ben 22 and a daughter, Ruth, 19. Ben is a student at SFA and majors in music. Ruth is a student at Baylor and majors in speech pathology.

Rev. Bynum has pastored for 25 years. His first church was as Youth Pastor in Brownsboro First Assembly of God in 1982. He was Pastor for 10 years at Troup, Texas.

Mrs. Bynum is the granddaughter of Rev. and Mrs. A.C. Rasco who first established the First Assembly of God Church in Brownsboro in 1951.

They are looking forward to following God's will today, building on the foundation of yesterday, and working toward tomorrow.

The annual Homecoming for the church is set for August 12, 2007 with services starting at 10:30-12:00. Lunch will follow in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome. Old fashion singing and praising the Lord will begin at 1:00. The singing group, The Boyds will be featured. Come and enjoy Christian fellowship (praising the Lord).
