Gloria Hart Hines Melton

Services for Mrs. Gloria Hart Hines Melton, 56, Chandler were held Saturday at West Lake Baptist Church, Chandler, with Rev. Eric Peyton and Rev. Robert Wheat officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Melton died July 31, 2007 in Chandler.

She was born February 17, 1951 in Riverside, California and had been a resident of the Chandler area for about five years. She was a member of West Lake Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Hilland Merle and Lucille Elizabeth Hart.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert Dennis Melton of Chandler; sons, Aaron Hines and wife Sherry of Phoenix, Arizona, David Hines of Chandler, step-sons, Chris Melton and wife Holly of Aubrey, Texas, Craig Melton of Ft. Worth, and Chad Melton and wife Amy of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Holly McDonnold and husband Scott of Forney, Texas; brother, Barry Hart and wife Dianah of Arlington, Texas; aunt, Mary Ruth Thorn of Chandler; 7 grandchildren.

Family members served as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to West Lake Baptist Church, 1439 FM 315 S., Chandler TX 75758.
