Jackie Gwyne Kirkland

Memorial services for Jackie Gwyne Kirkland, 61, Chandler were held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Hospice Homeplace Chapel, Tyler with burial of her ashes to follow in Chandler Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were with Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

Mrs. Kirkland died August 2 in Tyler. She was born June 14, 1946 in Cooper, Texas to Helen McDougal Harmon and R.C. McDougal.

She was of the Baptist faith, was a homemaker, seamstress, bookkeeper and long-haul team driver with her husband. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, Darwin Jerry Kirkland and granddaughter, Erica Faye Smith.

Survivors iinclude daughters, Kimberly Palomo, Chandler, Sabrina Thoene, Bullard, Jamie Van Winkle, Yantis; son, James Winton Ellis, Murchison; and 8 grandchildren.
