HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BIG DADDY

A brilliant and extraordinary man
Full of wonderful information,
and not afraid to take a stand;
Whenever I hear a volleyball or basketball bounce,
I hear his coaching and requests.
"Give 120%," he'd say,
And I would forget about needing a rest.
I am most proud of my grandpa
For his accomplishments in the Air Force,
In everything he does,
He supports the red, white, and blue -- of course!
I am thankful for my grandpa for his love of his family
And his gracious helping hand.

TAKE THE HOLY BIBLE

Take the Holy Bible, hold it in your hands,
Turn the pages gently then you will understand
Why Jesus came to save lost sinners such as we,
Why He gave His life on the cross of Calvary.
It is written in the pages by those men of old,
The stories of the prophets, yes we have been told
A child would come lead us and show us the way,
How to live our lives each and every day.
Satan tried to tempt him, God's one and only Son,
But he was defeated by the Holy One.
For Jesus rebuked him and put him on the run,
Then he cried out from the cross, "Father it is done."
He was buried in the ground in a tomb sealed tight,
But he rose from the dead to prove He was the light,
Ascending into Heaven at the Father's right hand,
It has been recorded for us to understand.
Take the Holy Bible, hold it in your hands,
Turn the pages gently, find out where you stand.
Just give your heart to Jesus and He will set you free,
So come, be born again, then you'll walk in victory.
