Bears to host Wills Point, Sat.

They began practice last Monday, August 6 and now the Bears are ready to put on the pads and hit someone else as they host the Wills Point Tigers this Saturday, August 18 in Brownsboro.

The scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 9:00am with the Freshmen team, followed by the JV and Varsity.

This season the Bears are introducing a new offensive scheme highlighted by the shotgun formation. Sophomore Cameron Warren looks to carry the offensive load from the tailback position while Senior Ryan Epperson is the unquestioned leader of the defense.

Meet the Bears is scheduled for Monday, August 20 at the Brownsboro Football Stadium beginning at 7pm.

Brownsboro's first regular season game will be in Jacksonville on Friday, August 31 at 7:30pm. The Bears first home game of the season, and homecoming, will be September 14 against the Westwood Panthers.
