JOY
Spring has begun this very day,
and a flowery Easter is on its way.
Baskets and eggs and an Easter bunny.
Joy on this doesn't cost any money,
But this isn't the true meaning of this day.
It's that Jesus arose and went His way.
This year instead of hunting for eggs to eat
Hunt up Salvation, now that's a treat.
Ask Jesus into your heart
And promise him now that you will never be apart.
Jesus had died, He was crucified,
He has risen again and watches over all men, far
and wide.
by Brianna Howard, age 11

TIMES CHANGE
Now I live in a time
When I hope you have
Not forgotten my name.
And that I'll live,
To hear you say it
Just once more,
In this love time.
by Linda Amos, Poet

YOUR PROMISE
I'm living for your promise
Of a brighter day.
I'm living for your promise
Of a better way.
I'm living for your promise
That only you can set me free.
I'm living for your promise
That Jesus died for me.
by Katrina Edwards

WILD WEST
The old timers talk of their wild west
With miles of wide open space,
Of longhorn cattle and wild mustangs
And the dangers they had to face.
Of wild and woolly young men
Hard riding, hard living, quick to boast
Of their prowess with a rope and gun
Or which one could drink the most.
Just funloving, high-stepping cowboys
Attentive and polite to the ladies, of course,
But when the Saturday festivities were over
They always went home with their horse!
