Hope that everyone had a good week and the weekend was great.

The sermon that Bro. Russell Kuhns brought was "Holding Hands, Holding Tight." Everyone is always invited to join us on Sundays and Wednesday nights. You will receive a blessing from God's Word.

Carolyn Fender and daughby ters are visiting with her parents in Temple.

Mr. and Mrs. Layne Staggs are in New York visiting their son, Jared. He will be leaving soon for Iraq. Please keep him and all others in your prayers.

Those celebrating birthdays last week were, Lonnie Lewis, Matt Fowler, Stephanie Metcalf, Joyce Daily and Dianna Kuhns. Many more birthdays to all.

Remember our Homecoming is soon - September 9th. Come and join us for celebrating 90-plus years. Mack Smith will have charge of the music.

School is coming. Remember the children and teachers as they start another year.

The sick and shut-ins need our daily prayers. If you know a shut-in or sick person, pick up your phone and call them.

Bro. and Mrs. David Tidmore have their grandson this week. He is from McKinney.

Bro. and Mrs. Russell Kuhns visited our former pastor, Bro. Ike and Sue Johnson last Friday in Nacogdoches. They are doing well.

Grandsons from Tyler were guests of their grandparents, Calvin and Vivian Brown for the weekend.
