Marguerite Loyd

Services for Marguerite O. Loyd, 88, of Chandler, were held at 10 a.m. Friday at West Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Peyton and Rev. Bob Sexton officiating. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas under the direction of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mrs. Loyd died August 12, 2007, in a Chandler nursing home. She was born March 18, 1919, in Dallas to the late Pleasant Mayland and Mary Ann Odom. She was a 25-year resident of Chandler.

She was a member of West Lake Baptist Church and retired from Joe Jacobs Insurance Co. where she was a secretary for many years.

Mrs. Loyd was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Loyd Jr. and son, Frank L. Loyd III.

She is survived by her grandson, Frank L. Loyd IV and his wife Andrea L. Loyd; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jesse Coker, Billy Pyle, Gerald Potts, Connie Jett, David Richards and Bill Dunn.
