Bro. Harry Lagrone blessed us with a wonderful message Sunday morning while Pastor Mike was speaking at a church in Winnsboro, Tx.

This has been a busy week with everyone getting ready for the new school year. Our new youth program, King's Kids will be starting on Sept. 5th. They will meet each Wednesday night from 6:30- 8:00. All the area children 4 years old thru 6th grade are invited to attend.

Our ladies group is studying the Women of the Bible on the first and third Thursday evening at 7:00. We invite all the ladies of our community to join us in this study.

We are pleased to welcome Chris and Lora Bivins into our church family. They come to us from Tyland Baptist Church of Tyler.

We were thrilled to have 35 in Sunday School and 42 in our morning worship service this week.

There are several who are still out sick. And we are thankful to have Billy Gray home and recovering. We will continue to lift him and Mary up to the Lord as well as all who are on our prayer list.

Our men's and ladies prayer breakfast is coming up Saturday, Sept. 1 at 8 a.m. We hope to see you all there. Bring your favorite breakfast food and your prayer requests and join us for a very inspirational time.

We pray that each of you will have a glorious week in the Lord.
