HEY........Now that the kiddies are in school and trying to settle down after a carefree summer of fun and games (bless the teachers' hearts) it is time to think about cleaning out all those things that were relegated to the garage for extra space. Keep Chandler Beautiful will be having their Annual Garage Sale soon sooo... donate all of that "stuff" and help this nonprofit organization with funding.

It has really been hot lately but we have had a wonderful summer. As I am the "Main Bee" I have had lots of relatives visiting this summer. Some of the creatures who call themselves "relatives" and really the strangest put-together bugs I have ever seen. Have you ever seen a Click Beetle? Well, I did. Let me tell you it is a scarry thing and that bugger really clicks loud. It seems as though this beetle can not turn itself upright if it falls over on its back until it works the hinge between head and back and propels itself forward in the air, trying to come down right side up. Do you follow me? Wow, what engineering. AND, the protective clicking is LOUD and would make any bird or bee drop it immediately. Fortunately my people hung on , cheating with a wet paper towel, and looked this baby over. According to the computer, it is sometimes called the Patent Leather beetle because it is very shiny black. They can also be red or brown. Awesome.
