Letter to the Editor

Editor:

Don't you find this mess with the Hospital Board that Owen started kind of odd? I attended the Hospital Board meeting on Thursday, August 30th, and to my surprise everything was out in the open for anyone who wanted to listen. When you go to Commissioners Court if anything comes up about the Hospital Board, then they go behind closed doors, and if you hang around long enough, when they come back out they tell everyone just what they want them to hear.

Now does that tell you what the difference is between the two? While the County wants to hide everything, the Hospital Board brings theirs out in the open. The only way you get information about the County is by asking for it on the Open Records Act.

And about that $800 million Judge Holstein says this lawsuit has saved the county, then why are they raising our taxes?
