The buzz all around town last week was the excitement of the first week of school for the fall semester. WOW......I have never seen such energy packed in one room in my life ! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day Holiday because from here until Thanksgiving it is all hard work.

REMEMBER........KCB VOLUNTEERS ARE HOLDING THEIR ANNUAL FUNDRAISING GARAGE SALE SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH FROM 8:00 A.M. UNTIL ALL ITEMS ARE GONE. WHERE? , YOU SAY . ! CHANDLER COMMUNITY CENTER UNDER AIR CONDITIONING. HOW GREAT IS THAT!

My people have neighbors who have the most gorgeous back yard with many hummingbird feeders and seed feeders. All you have to do is sit quietly (which is very hard for me to do) and watch the action. I haven't seen that many Hummingbirds in one place for years. They must be tanking up for the trip south. I used to hang around the syrup feeders but then I got a real job. The Cardinals seem to be numerous this year too. Two Bluebird families were also raised.

Take time to enjoy the beauty around you as the Fall slips into gear. It will be gone before you know it. Savor the moment.
