ETMC Cattle Baron's Golf Challenge set for October 5

The Henderson County Unit of the American Cancer Society will be holding the Tenth Annual ETMC Golf Tournament on Friday, October 5, 2007 at Echo Creek Golf Club. This year's event is sponsored by ETMC Athens and will be a great day of fun and golf for everyone.
The Tournament will be a four-person scramble with tee off times at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Event coordinators are expecting 36 teams to participate, with 18 in the morning and 18 in the afternoon.
The day will include 18 holes of golf, lunch provided by Piggy's Bar-B-Que, and prize drawings. The entry fee of $500 includes a 4-member team, a hole sponsorship, lunch, golf cart and trail fees. All of the hole sponsor signage will be displayed at the Cattle Baron's Ball on Saturday night, October 6th at the Joslin Ranch on FM 2495 in Athens.
There will be two prizes for hitting a hole-in-one on separate par three holes - a 2007 Pontiac Solstice Convertible donated by Bacon Auto Ranch and a $10,000 cash prize donated by Dub and JoAnn McCarty. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at $5 each for some great prizes to be announced.
