Bearettes open District 14-3A play with Bullard Tuesday
      With several tournaments under their belt and many more regular games the Bearettes are ready to face off against District 14-3A opponents for a possible District title and playoff bid. Brownsboro will open District 14-3A play on Tuesday, September 18 when the Bullard Lady Panthers come to town.

Oh so close; Bears fall 8-6
      Heading into the fourth quarter of last Thursday's game against Mount Vernon the Freshman Bears held a 6- 0 lead thanks to the legs and strength of Dallas Huckabee. Huckabee broke the scoreless tie late in the third quarter as he broke through the middle of the Tiger defense on a 15 yard run.

JV Bears defeat Tigers 22-6
      Mount Vernon struck fast scoring a touchdown on their opening possession but the Junior Varsity Bears had the last laugh as they defeated the Tigers 22-6 in Brownsboro last Thursday. The Tigers began the game with good field position starting on their own 40 yardline.
