What's Happening Shaun Groves will be singing and speaking at the Living for the Brand Cowboy Church on Thursday, September 20, 2007. This event will also include the Living for the Brand Praise Team opening. It starts at 7:00 p.m., but doors will open at 6. The church is located at 902 NE Loop 7 Athens, TX. There will be pizza, games, prizes, a live band, and a guest speaker. The rally will be from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. and is located 2 miles east of Murchison (look for signs). Everyone is welcome! The money collected from the Garage Sale will help fund our Wednesday Night Kings Kids Club, ages 4 years to 6th grade. We meet 6:30-8:00 p.m. every Wednesday night .Brownsboro Little Dribblers will have an organizational meeting on Sunday, September 23 at 2:30pm in the cafeteria at Chandler Elementary. The elections of officers and review and voting on local bylaws will occur during the meeting. All coaches and parents are encouraged to attend. Trinity Valley Community College Continuing Education will offer Fundamentals of Cake Decorating Beginning Sept. 27. The class will be led by Chef Simon Webster. Students will learn the basic art of icing a cake, how to make flower decorations, cake writing, sugar molds, roses and seasonal cakes. The classes will be at the Athens campus beginning Sept. 27 and ending Oct. 18. Classes will meet from 6-8 P.M. and tuition is $120. Look for signs. There will be lots of furniture, a bedroom set, livingroom furniture, occasional tables, 220 air conditioner, dishes, linens, pots and pans, large appliances, clothes ranging from infants to plus sizes, as well as items for men. Brownsboro ISD has a vacancy on the Board of Trustees due to a resignation and is seeking applications of per sons interested in serving their community as a trustee.
