Shaun Groves will be singing and speaking at the Living for the Brand Cowboy Church on Thursday, September 20, 2007. This event will also include the Living for the Brand Praise Team opening. It starts at 7:00 p.m., but doors will open at 6. The church is located at 902 NE Loop 7 Athens, TX. Admission is free, though a love offering will be taken. "Youth for Heaven" Youth Rally Saturday, September 22. There will be pizza, games, prizes, a live band, and a guest speaker. The rally will be from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. and is located 2 miles east of Murchison (look for signs). Everyone is welcome!

Church Garage Sale September 22 from 7a.m. until 4 p.m. at Forest Grove Baptist Church. If you have any donations to give to this effort, please contact us at (903)849- 2368 or (903)849-2378. The money collected from the Garage Sale will help fund our Wednesday Night Kings Kids Club, ages 4 years to 6th grade. We meet 6:30-8:00 p.m. every Wednesday night

.Brownsboro Little Dribblers will have an organizational meeting on Sunday, September 23 at 2:30pm in the cafeteria at Chandler Elementary. The elections of officers and review and voting on local bylaws will occur during the meeting. All coaches and parents are encouraged to attend. MOPS will be meeting at First Assembly in Chandler on September 25 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Trinity Valley Community College Continuing Education will offer Fundamentals of Cake Decorating Beginning Sept. 27. The class will be led by Chef Simon Webster. Students will learn the basic art of icing a cake, how to make flower decorations, cake writing, sugar molds, roses and seasonal cakes. The classes will be at the Athens campus beginning Sept. 27 and ending Oct. 18. Classes will meet from 6-8 P.M. and tuition is $120. 6th Annual Garage Sale September 27, 28, and 29 from 8 A.M. until 4 P.M. at Parkside Shores subdivision, which is located 9 miles south of Chandler. Look for signs. There will be lots of furniture, a bedroom set, livingroom furniture, occasional tables, 220 air conditioner, dishes, linens, pots and pans, large appliances, clothes ranging from infants to plus sizes, as well as items for men.

Brownsboro ISD has a vacancy on the Board of Trustees due to a resignation and is seeking applications of per sons interested in serving their community as a trustee. Forest Grove Baptist Church will hold their Fifth Sunday Singing on Sunday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited. TVCC and the Small Business Development Center will offer classes this fall for those interested in starting their own business. "Starting a Successful Small Business", will be taught by SBDC Director Mike Ellsberry. Classes will begin on Sept. 6 from 6-8 p.m. and run through Sept. 27. The Brownsboro Masonic Lodge #1051 will be hosting their

Annual Pancake Breakfast, Saturday Oct. 13 from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the lodge on Hwy 31 in Brownsboro. They will be accepting $3.00 donations. Bring the whole family!
