Georgia Evelyn Lavin

Services for Georgia Evelyn Lavin, 90, Chandler, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Chandler Church of Christ with Mr. Scott Fossey officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lavin died September 11, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born August 9, 1917, in Rosedale, Kansas, and lived in the Chandler area for the last four years. She was a retired switchboard operator, a member of Chandler Church of Christ, an officer in the PBX Club and president of the local AARP group.

Survivors include son, Wes Lavin; step-son, Richard Lavin; daughter, Carlane Morgan; step-daughter, Judy Parker; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Grayson Lavin, Ty Morgan, Steve Lavin, Rob Lavin, Ryan Lavin, Mark Lavin, Richard Dorsey and Paul Mundheim.
