JV Bears crush Sabine 44-0

The Junior Varsity Bears totaled 270 yards of offense and scored on seven of nine possessions in route to a 44-0 win against Sabine last Thursday night in Brownsboro.
Brownsboro's defense held the Cardinals to 22 total yards of offense on 24 plays while forcing three turnovers. All three turnovers led to Bear touchdowns.
To add to the Cardinal woes the Bears blocked two punt attempts. Colton Croley blocked the first punt that was recovered for the Bears by Garrett Bragg and Peyton Williams blocked the second punt that Eustace was able to recover.
Brownsboro took a 36-0 led into the half thanks to touchdowns on all six of their first half offensive drives.
Jon Jon Thompson scored first for the Bears on a 27 yard run before OT Moore scored on a 35 yard run.
In the second quarter Ryan Owens connected with Thompson for a 15 yard touchdown pass before converting the two point conversion on a run.
Bret Ralson scored with 2:48 left in the first half on a six yard run and Thompson converted the two points.
After a fumble recovery by Williams, Brownsboro's Owens connected with Austin Adair for a 24 yard touchdown pass and following the Michael Berry conversion the Bears led 36-0.
In the second half Owens connected with Leroy Loredo for a six yard touchdown pass and JR Webster converted the two point conversion.
Ryan Cawthon had an interception for Brownsboro and Jared Davis recovered a fumble.
Brownsboro (3-1) will play in Rains tonight.
