Sunday Services: God blessed with a great spirit, a good crowd, and a continued number of guests. The sixmember vocal ensemble sang "When Mercy Came Runnng.." The evening service featured solos, ensembles and congregational music for the 5th Sunday Worship Celebration. "Study Hall: What Does God Expect of Me?" was the title of the pastor's sermon.

:Ladies Ministry: The ladies, led by Cindy Pierce met for their monthly "Faith Talk" in the fellowship hall this last Thursday, for a meal and a great time of fellowship in Christ.

Project Warm-Up: Coat and sweater distribution, Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 10:00am-2:00pm. This annual project involves the distribution of coats and sweaters collected by WLBC to be distributed within the community. Thanks for continuing to bring your contributions for this effort.

WLBC 5th Quarter: The WLBC youth had a 5th quarter celebration at the Nichols' after the Friday game, which included swimming, food, fellowship and games.

Discipleship University: The fall semester began this Sunday with four course offerings: "Living Beyond Yourself", a Beth Moore study, facilitated by Cindy Pierce began on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 4:30 pm; "His Girl", a new study for teenage girls, facilitated by Sherry Fuller, began Sunday, Oct. 7 at 5:00pm; "Discerning The Voice of God", a Thursday weekly ladies study will be taught by Tanya Essary, begins Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7:00pm; "Becoming a Contagious Christian", will be facilitated by Dennis Melton, begins on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 5:00pm.

"Back to School Again" is the title of the pastor's new Sunday morning sermon series, which began Sunday. Don't miss this straightforward Sunday sermon series as we explore these topics:

"Study Hall": What Does God Expect From Me?"

"Sex Ed": What does God Think About Sex?"

"Science": What Does God Teach About Creation/Evolution? "

"Phys. Ed.": What Does God Say About Your Body?

State Missions Offering: The emphasis for Missions for October is the Mary Hill Davis Mission Offering which is used for mission work in the State of Texas.

Fall Festival: This annual Christ-centered alternative to Halloween will be on Wednesday, October 31st at the church.

Men's Breakfast - the Brotherhood Breakfast will be this Saturday at 8:00am.

"The Spiritual War on Terror ": Can a Christian be demon possessed? Do ghosts really exist? What power does Satan really have? In the pastor's new Sunday evening teaching series, we'll answer these questions and explore what the Bible really does say about spiritual warfare. Titles include:

The Evangels Sunday School Class will meet at 11:15am at the church to carpool for a lunch at Hidden Gardens in Bullard, Texas.
