Scattered showers create wet roads
A Dodge pickup flipped over on FM 314 Thursday, September 27, blocking traffic for two hours in the early afternoon. The flipped pickup is owned by Jack Hankins, who said the cause of the flip was braking on the slick road as a second Dodge truck attempted to pass Hankins in a no-pass zone. No injuries were reported. The truck flipped because of the weight of its attached trailer, Hankins said.
