Greetings from our "Little Church with the Big Smile." Hope you had a great week!

Our attendance was down a little Sunday; we had 63, and a couple of visitors also. Please come back and worship with us.

Bro. Russell Kuhns' sermon Sunday was on God's plan for you, "Be Prepared" from I Samuel 17:1-10.

Mrs. Ruby Wine, mother of Ed Wine recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. Congratulations and many more. There certainly have been many changes in 92 years!

Others celebrating birthdays this week were Russell Kuhns, Elizabeth Shafer, Billie Strickland and Destiny Daughtery.

A recent birthday that we missed was Ryan Poniatowski and his son, Matthew. They share to same date.

An invitation is extended to join Elana Tidmore and Ryan Poniatowski for their wedding vows. It will be October 20 at 3 p.m., Martin Springs Baptist Church, with reception following. Come share with them on this important day in their lives.

Our sick and shut-ins need your daily prayers. Also remember our military.

Jonnie Hopson, Donna Jennings and granddaughter Macie along with Chelsa Hopson were visitors in Dallas on Saturday.

The youth are studying Bible Study techniques. Come and be a part of our youth group. Bro. Rick Daily is their leader.
