Dale White

Services for Allen Dale White, 52, Edom, were held Wednesday at Hilliard Funeral Home, Van, with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.

Burial was in Edom Cemetery.

Mr. White died Oct. 7, 2007, in a Tyler hospice.

He was born March 14, 1955, in Dallas to the late Walker and Leola White. He worked for White's Tree Service and had been a resident of Edom most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Forrest White; and nephew, Gerry White, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Joanne White, Edom; daughters, Stephanie Swanson and Wendy Green, both of Edom; brothers, Marvin White, Edom and and Gerry White, Sherman; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Danny White, Bear White, Pete White, Marvin White, Addison White and Colby White.
