Henderson County court activity Sept. 10 - Oct. 7 District Attorney, Donna R. Bennett, reports the following Court activity for the weeks of September 10, 2007 through September 21, 2007 * Richard Randall Wallace, 44, of Murchison, pled guilty to the third degree felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated. The Court assessed punishment at six (6) years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division probated five (5) years, $1,500 fine, court costs, AA/NA, urinalysis, 10 days confinement in the Henderson County Jail (as condition of probation), 180 days driver's license suspension, 350 hours community service, attend Victim Impact Panel, attend DWI subsequent offender class, obtain GED, $50 to local Crime Stoppers, interlock device (1/2 of term), attend substance abuse evaluation and follow recommended treatment. * Jacqueline Denise Coleman Pickens, 43, of Athens, pled guilty to the third degree felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated. The Court assessed punishment at three (3) years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, court costs, attorney fees, and restitution. * Amber Lynn Coder, 20, of Gun Barrel, pled guilty to the Class A Misdemeanor offense of Deadly Conduct. The Court assessed punishment at one (1) years deferred adjudication probation, $250 fine, AA/NA, urinalysis, 100 hours community service, obtain GED, $50 to local Crime Stoppers, attend substance abuse evaluation and follow recommended treatment and attend parenting classes. * Jessie Trevino, 60, of Athens, pled guilty to the third degree felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated. Bennett, reports the following Court activity for the weeks of September 24, 2007 through October 5, 2007: * Brandon Keith Chambers, 22, of Payne Sprngs, pled true to 5 counts in the State's Motion to Revoke for the State Jail felony offense of Theft Over $1,500 and pled true to 3 counts on the State's Motion to Revoke for the State Jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. The Court assessed punishment at thirteen (13) months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division, previous court costs, previous and new attorney fees; previous restitution and these are to run concurrently. * Thomas Capps, 37, of Kemp, pled guilty to a third degree felony offense of Assault on a Public Servant. The Court assessed punishment at two (2) years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, court costs, and attorney fees. * Jennifer Nicole Chambers, 29, of Tool, pled true to counts 1-7 contained in the State's Motion to Revoke Community Supervision. The Court assessed punishment at ten (10) months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division, previous fine, court costs, attorney fees, restitution, and new court costs and attorney fees. * Corey Shawn Jasper, 35, of Kemp, pled true to counts 1-14 contained in the State's Motion to Revoke Community Supervision. The Court assessed punishment at four (4) years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, previous fine, attorney fees, new court costs and attorney fees. * Melvin Ray Richardson, 47, of Kemp, pled guilty to a state jail felony offense of Burglary of Building, reduced to a Class A Misdemeanor Attempted Burglary of Building. The Court assessed punishment at five (5) years deferred adjudication probation, court costs, attorney fees, $6,521.21 restitution (joint and severally with co-defendant), AA/NA, urinalysis, 300 hours community service, obtain a GED, do not communicate or have contact in any manner with co-defendant, $50 to local Crime Stopper Program, attend the Theft Management Program, substance abuse evaluation and follow recommended treatment. * Kevin Jay Todd, Jr., 22, of Malakoff, pled true to Count 1 contained in the State's Motion to Revoke Community Supervision, and guilty to a state jail felony offense of Possession of Controlled Substance. The Court assessed punishment at fifteen (15) months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division, previous fine, court costs, attorney fees, and new court costs, attorney fees and restitution.
