Holiday House Bazaar begins November 2

Athens First United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Lovers Lane and College Street, will hold its annual Holiday House Bazaar, beginning November 2, from noon to 8:00 pm, and November 3, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

The Bazaar will feature over 600 handcrafted wood, fabric, jewelry and floral pieces. There will also be a bake sale with hundreds of goodies, second time around, silent auction quilt, children's shopping area and a quilt raffle.The quilt is queen size; raffle tickets may be purchased at the church office.

The November 2 meal is from 5:00-7:00pm, and includes chips and salsa, taco soup and Texas cake with praline icing for $6.00 A child's menu includes a hot dog, chips, dessert and drink for $3.00. Eat in or take out.
