LETTER TO EDITOR:

Ever since I moved to Chandler in 1997, all I have heard about Howard Taliaferro is that he is a troublemaker and causes all kinds of discord. After reading his letter to the editor this past week and listening to him on occasion at zoning and city council meetings, I have come to the conclusion that he is one of few that will speak up and ask the hard questions that nobody seems to want to answer.

And what about Coy Ellis? Why is "The City" turning their back on him? If this would happen to a citizen of Chandler who has served on the City Council and has been a part of the Chandler area for many years, what would happen to someone like me?

And a business receiving 35K start-up money, when others don't receive any? Where do I sign up for this money?

I applaud Mr. Taliaferro for asking those questions that need to be answered! I applaud Mr. Taliaferro for having the backbone to be a truth teller!
