BJHS sweeps Van
Brownsboro Junior High football teams made a clean sweep of the Van Vandals last week as each team defeated Van by at least one touchdown.

Last Tuesday the 7th grade B team defeated Van 8-0 and Dion Ramirez scored a touchdown for the Bears and Wyatt Bynum converted the two points.
The 7th grade A team won 14-8. Johntae Harmon scored early for the Bears while Ryan Chapman caught a pass from Shelby Rogers with a minute remaining in the game for the go ahead touchdown. Taylor Beall converted a two point attempt on a screen pass from Rogers.
On Thursday night the 8th grade B team defeated Van 14-0. Kevin Kelly and John Nellist scored the Bears' touchdowns while Tyler Poe caught a pass from Bryan Hollifield for the two points. The entire defensive unit played well led by RJ Newsome and Josh Privett.
Finally the 8th grade A team defeated Van 14-8. Cody Strickland opened the second half with a kickoff returned for a touchdown. He also threw a pass to Nick Jones for a touchdown. Keuntis Thompson converted the two points for the Bears.
Coach Beasley stated the punt and kickoff teams played exceptionally well.
