Guest speaker: We were pleased to welcome Dr. Charles Dodson, Executive Director of Breckenridge Village, as our speaker Sunday morning who filled in for our pastor. Bro. Charles is a good friend of WLBC.

Newest Member: We are pleased to welcome Jerry McGhee to WLBC.

Fall Festival - You're invited to the annual Christcentered Halloween alternative at WLBC Wednesday, October 31 at 6:00 pm- 8:00pm. Admission is free, and the festival will feature free prizes, good fun and games.

Women's Ministry: All ladies are invited for food, fun and fellowship and a monthly Faith Talk led by Cindy Pierce. Tuesday, October 23 at 7:00 p.m.-9 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Project Warm-Up: Coats and sweaters will be distributed Wednesday, November 7, 2007, 10:00am `til 2:00pm. Thanks for the donations to this annual effort.

Discipleship University has begun and features the following fall courses: "Living Beyond Yourself," a Beth Moore study taught by Cindy Pierce, which begins at 4:30 on Sundays. "His Girls," a study for teen girls taught by Sherry Fuller, which starts at 5:00pm on Sundays; "Discerning the Voice of God," a women's study is taught by Tanya Essary and meets Thursdays at 7:00 pm; "Becoming a Contagious Christian," taught by Dennis Melton, begins this Sunday at 5:00 p.m. and is a 6-week study for men and women.

Singin' Saintz: Meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.

WMU: The WMU held the monthly birthday party for residents at the Chandler Nursing Center on Wednesday, October 17 at 10:00 a.m. Homemade cakes and punch were served.
