Jones & Herrington unite in marriage

Mrs. Joel Newman Herrington

Stephanie Renee' Jones of Chandler and Joel Newman Herrington of Brownsboro were married October 13, 2007 at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro.

Bro. Eric Graham of Athens officiated the afternoon ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon Jones of Chandler and Andy Jones of Overton, and the granddaughter of Mary Williams of Brownsboro and Bettie Draper Williams of Kilgore. She received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Tyler and is a graduate of Brownsboro High School. She is employed with Brookshire Grocery Company.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newman Herrington of Brownsboro and the grandson of Nadine Johnson of Kilgore. He received his Master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a graduate of Brownsboro High School. He is employed with Arp ISD.

Maid of honor was Sarina Williams of Brownsboro, cousin of the bride.

Best man was John Baggett of Chandler, friend of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Brittany Folden of Chandler and Rebecca Barker of Denton, both friends of the bride.

Groomsmen were Mark Melton of Kilgore and Brad Parker of Murchison, both friends of the groom.

The flower girl was Katie Knabel of Chandler, cousin of the groom.

The house party consisted of ushers, Ryan Hood of San Marcos, cousin of the groom and Clint Stutts of Malakoff, friend of the groom; guest attendant, Nicole Elerson of Sulphur Springs, friend of the bride, and hostesses, Whitney Johnson of Chandler, friend of the bride and Jennifer Davis of Henrietta, cousin of the groom.

Music was provided by soloist Lance Owen of Brownsboro.

The couple took a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They will reside in Brownsboro.
