Lions Den Chandler

The Texas Lions Camp, located in Kerrville, Texas provides a summer encampment for children who are physically challenged and those children with Diabetes. Special facilities and equipment allows their participation in swimming, fishing, riding horses and numerous other activities. Normally these children could not attend a regular summer encampment. The participants are selected by local Lion Clubs from all over the state. The camp is free and sponsoring Lion Clubs cover the cost of transportation. What a blessing it was to attend one of their camp graduations.

I received a thank you letter from the Texas Lions Camp for our recent contribution and recognition for 28 years of achieving a 100% giving. A 100% contribution includes funds for Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, Leader Dog for the Blind, Lions World Services for the Blind, and the Lone Star Eye Bank, to name a few. The Texas Lions Camp is just one of the many local and international projects that Lions support. We take our motto of "We Serve" very seriously and have a great time serving our community.
