More than 90 colleges registered to attend annual College Fair

Representatives from more than 90 colleges and universities have registered to attend the Tyler Area College Fair, scheduled for Monday, November 12, 6-8 p.m. at the Oil Palace. The fair is open to all prospective college students as well as parents, teachers and counselors. Admission is free.

"We are excited to be able to offer Tyler area students and their parents the opportunity to visit with representatives from so many colleges. People often think this event is only for high school juniors and seniors, but we encourage all high school students to attend, " said event organizer Luci Mimms.

A list of colleges registered to attend can be found at www.tylercollegefair.com. "We currently have confirmed registrations for more than 90 schools, and I expect many more registrations to come in over the next few weeks," said Mimms.

Anyone Interested in helping with College Fair is encouraged to contact Ms. Mimms. "We are always looking for alums of out-ofstate schools to represent their college at the fair, as well as parents who are willing to work a one-hour shift," she said.

The Tyler Area College Fair is sponsored by the Fourth Partner Foundation, The Mayor's COOL Program, The Junior League of Tyler, Fair Foundation, Ben and Maytee Fisch Family Foundation, Bob L.
